The project consisted on the construction of a lecture hall and auditorium on the 3rd floor of an existing building. The project required the demolition of existing infrastructure prior to the establishment of a steel structure for the ceiling and a platform for seating. The project included extensive installations of lighting fixtures (ambient and spot), under floor and overhead air conditioning, audio-visual equipment installations including multiple projectors and speakers, and detailed high wear finishes.
During part of the construction phase, this building was being used for regular activities such as lectures and teacher meetings. Although some of the construction took place over the summer holidays, the project required the coexistence of construction and school activities.
The scope of the project included services rough in, ceilings and linings, structural steel, flooring, painting, joinery, electrical fit off, mechanical fit-off, seating, floor coverings.
