The project consisted of the extension adding another storey to an existing 1 storey staffroom building, adding an open plan office, training room, kitchenettes, bathroom amenities, offices, meetings room, interview rooms and a lift to provide access across floors. A covered hallway bridge between to the new level and the existing library provided access between the two separate buildings. The structure was predominantly reinforced concrete, structural steel frame, some blockwork and light weight partitions wrapped in corrugated iron and FC cladding. Architectural features included exposed concrete soffits, exposed concrete formed columns and stairs.

Works have been completed within the functionality of the school environment. The site was located out the front of the school drop off zones which had to be shared for use during school drop off and pick up times. Our staff have worked closely with the school to ensure all coordination on deliveries, fall zone restrictions during crane lifts, machinery access and noise issues were planned around what was happening at the school.
