KFC has a policy of restaurant renovations every 5/10 years. Each franchise has to do a minor renovation and a major renovation at specified intervals and the new elements of design have to be aligned with the corporate guidelines. Internal and external repairs, renovations and refurbishment as per general corporate guidelines and customer needs.

All the work was done while the store was open and operational, having particular needs for work scheduling, night time work and construction activities with customers coming in and out of the store.

The overall work included the renovation of interiors and exteriors, painting, cladding, upholstery, and outdoors signage.
